1) It is used as a coagulant in the rubber industry to accelerate rubber polymerization and molding.

2) In the printing and dyeing industry, it serves as a bleaching auxiliary for cotton, linen, silk and chemical fiber fabrics, as well as a dechlorinating agent after chlorine bleaching of textiles.

3) In the leather industry, it is applied for leather treatment, which makes leather soft, plump and tough, and imparts waterproof, fold-resistant and wear-resistant properties to leather.

4) In the chemical industry, it is utilized for the production of sodium hydrosulfite, vanillin and hydroxylamine hydrochloride.
