Sodium Metabisulphite(Tech Grade) is a widely used preservative and additive. Its composition mainly consists of sodium metabisulfite, water and trace impurities. As a white crystalline powder, sodium metabisulfite can suppress microorganisms including bacteria, molds and yeasts, effectively extending the shelf life of food.

Sodium metabisulfite, the sodium salt of metabisulfurous acid, is an inorganic chemical compound commonly applied as both a preservative and bleaching agent. 3. Product application of Sodium Metabisulphite(Tech Grade)

3.1 It is used as a coagulant in the rubber industry to accelerate rubber polymerization and molding.

3.2 In the printing and dyeing industry, it serves as a bleaching auxiliary for cotton, linen, silk and chemical fiber fabrics, as well as a dechlorinating agent after chlorine bleaching of textiles.

3.3 In the leather industry, it is applied for leather treatment, which makes leather soft, plump and tough, and imparts waterproof, fold-resistant and wear-resistant properties to leather.

3.4 In the chemical industry, it is utilized for the production of sodium hydrosulfite, vanillin and hydroxylamine hydrochloride.
